HM Land Registry

HM Land Registry

HM Land Registry is a non-ministerial government department in the UK responsible for keeping a register of land and property ownership in England and Wales.

As of July 2024, the Land Register contained more than 26.5 million titles showing evidence of ownership for more than 89% of the landmass of England and Wales.

The Land Registry website publishes records of all property sales in England and Wales, which we use as a great starting point for our estimates of property value!

Royal Mail Group Ltd is the UK's primary postal service for delivering letters and parcels. It has been in existence in various guises since the time of Henry VIII and is currently owned by the EP Group.

Royal Mail holds a database of every property in the country and makes this information available for 3rd party use.

They publish and regularly update information on the availability and quality of broadband and mobile services.

They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people.

Data on schools and their performance is regularly published.

The Environment Agency is an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.

It works to create better places for people and wildlife, and supports sustainable development.

It regularly updates public data sets, including Flood Risks and other environmental factors affecting property.
