Our May Market Update containing data up to the 31st April 2024 is now available at www.bricksandlogic.co.uk. This update looks at changes in our estimates of sale and rental values between 31st January 2024 and 30th April 2024.
England & Wales 3 Month Sales Change

Across England and Wales, the average sale value rose by 2.1% over the past three months. 

Depending on your location, your local sale value changes varied between a drop of 1.5% and an increase of 7%. 

The best growth over the period was seen in the North East and South West.

England & Wales 3 Month Rental Change

Across England & Wales, the average rental value rose by 1.3% over the past three months varying from no change to an increase of 3.5% depending on your location. 

By far the best preforming areas were in the South and South East.

London 3 Month Sales Change

Across London, the average sale value rose by 1.9% over the past three months varying between a drop of 0.4% to an increase of 3.4% depending on your location.

London 3 Month Rental Change

Over the past three months, average rental values have increased by 1.6% across the city. 

Depending on your location, local changes varied from no change to growth of 2.7% with the largest increases seen outside Zone 1.
